A horse is a mirror image of the rider; as we give the rider more knowledge, the mirror becomes clearer. If the rider does not know what to do or how to do something, confidence is lost in both the horse and rider. As the rider gets tools (or exercises), the rider builds more confidence, and the horse gains more confidence. Balance, rhythm, and timing are part of confidence building in both horse and rider. These three elements are essential in any horse, especially in a gaited horse. When a gaited horse loses its balance and rhythm, it will become dull and not go forward, or it will almost run away. The easiest way to fix a horse like this is to have the rider give a horse a rhythm, and the rider be in balance. Every exercise we perform returns to these basic ideas of balance, rhythm, and timing confidently.
After rave reviews from last year, Jennifer is returning for another five-day clinic in a new location. Jennifer is an internationally known gaited horse trainer and riding instructor who gives clinics across the United States, Canada, and Europe. She holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin in Animal Science Equine Business. She apprenticed with award-winning trainer Larry Whitesell for five years before beginning her own business and continues to work closely with Larry.
Consider riding with Jennifer if you want to;

Preregistration and a deposit of $475.00 is required for riders. Register early to save your space.
Auditors are welcome to attend. The fee for Auditors is $25.00 per day or $100.00 for all five days. Preregistration is not required for auditing but is encouraged as space will be limited.
